Volunteer One-Day Horse Care Course

- Anyone curious about horses, future adopters, beginner riders, parent-and-child (ages 12+)
What you’ll learn
- Understand horses’ habits and psychology
- Learn to interact safely
- Build stable etiquette and basic care knowledge
- Practice grooming, bathing, feeding, and leading
- Build the foundation to adopt an older horse

Schedule
- 9:30–11:30 Morning · indoor class Understanding horses, safety principles, body language, stable tour
- 12:00–13:00 Lunch Bento provided, vegetarian on request; carrots to share and feed in the afternoon
- 13:30–16:00 Afternoon · hands-on Safe movement, grooming, bathing, feeding interaction + Q&A
Good to know
- Wear long trousers and trainers or rain boots (no sandals)
- Photograph only as the instructor directs; respect the horses’ safety
- In heavy rain some outdoor parts move indoors

Sessions run September to October, every Monday, 8 sessions in total. Places are limited, so please register early.
